The reputation of the Saint-Tite Western Festival is well established. And its world-class rodeo is an experience worth experiencing at least once. This is a tradition that began in 1967 and has continued to grow ever since, with around 600,000 visitors in 9 days.
In addition to paddle boarding, pedal boating, kayaking, sliding, swimming (highly recommended with its excellent water quality) and other activities to practice at Lac Trottier, a variety of bodies of water are present in the region. In winter, the region transforms into a snowshoeing and cross-country skiing paradise. You will find the Le Sillon cross-country ski club near Lac Pierre-Paul in Saint-Tite. The Mauricie National Park also offers numerous trails for all levels.

Shawinigan offers you several possibilities in terms of dining, shopping, cinema, etc. One of the attractions worth a detour is the Cité de l'Énergie museum in Melville Island Park.
